What I bring

I co-founded the Ashoka AI Lab, where I help teams across a global network of social entrepreneurs adopt AI. The World Economic Forum featured my methodology, Conscious Tinkering, in its report on AI in the social sector.

I've built more than 40 AI applications. See /projects for some examples.

I work in English and German, based in Berlin.

How we'd work together

Three modes, depending on what you need.

You have a specific AI question or decision and want a sharp outside view. We meet for a few structured sessions, focused on whatever you're trying to figure out. How to adopt AI in your team? How to build your own app? How to design a larger AI system? You leave each session with notes and a clear next step.

Typical shape: 3-5 one-hour sessions over a few weeks, remote.

You want to bring AI to your team's attention. I run half-day hands-on workshops where each participant sets up a real AI agent for one of their own recurring tasks. Not a generic intro, but actual work-in-progress. I also give 60-90 minute practitioner talks at conferences, kickoffs, and learning days, on using AI agents at work, Conscious Tinkering, and AI for social impact. Both work remotely or on-site.

Topics: Using AI Agents at Work · Conscious Tinkering · AI for Social Impact.

Past venues include Cambridge Judge Business School, re:publica, Fundraising.AI Summit, ChangemakerXChange.

You have a problem worth building for and want a working prototype, not a proposal. Over a focused sprint of a few days, I build (or help your team build) a real AI tool. A Q&A bot for your internal docs, a dashboard, a drafting assistant, an automation. You own the source code; I cover bug-fixes for two weeks after handover. See /projects for the kind of thing that comes out.

How a sprint runs: kickoff session to define the one key feature that the protype will have, focused build days, handover with your team. You provide test data and feedback throughout.

Frequently Asked Questions

I take a small number of engagements per year alongside my role co-leading the Ashoka AI Lab. That means my support can only be light-touch: sessions, workshops, and short prototyping sprints, not multi-month engagements.

That's exactly the case I'm built for. Conscious Tinkering is designed for non-technical teams. Workshops and advice meet you where you are. For prototyping, if nobody on your team codes, I build it myself; if you have technically inclined people, I guide them.

Sessions and most workshops are remote-friendly. Talks, longer workshops, and prototype kickoffs can happen on-site if travel makes sense. I'm based in Berlin and work in English and German.
